Taurus 745 as a Pocket Gun?

That's a new on on me, Dave.
I only knew about the PT145!!
I do find it interesting that they have all the good stuff listed under "Police and Military" do you think they know something about the new Demonratic congress that we have not learned yet??

I've carried the PT-745 for a couple of years. It is not a pocket gun. It's the same dimensions as the PT-145, just a little slimmer due to the single stack.

Depends what sort of pocket.

Pants pockets, no. Too big. The slide is rather more slender than any Glock, but it's stil a bit too big.

Coat pocket, it depends. If you're talking about a down parka where the handwarmer pocket is inside the cells of down, which will keep it from printing, then yes. I sometimes have mine in a Desantis nemesis in the right handwarmer pocket of such a parka, with the pocket snapped closed as additional retention.

Also good in some thick wool overcoats, if the inside breast pocket has a wide enough opening.

I carry the PT-745 but it is no Pocket Gun - at least not MY pockets... :)

All PT-1XX and the PT-745 Series guns share holsters with the XD series...
