Originally, there were no misfires. The action would lock up on me every 100rds or so randomly. I had to open the cylinder to unlock it.

I took it apart and did a F&B on the action, this was after I sent it back to Taurus as they were no help. While I was in there I cut a couple coils off the mainspring and the trigger spring.

This got me random light strikes with WWB ammo, I didnt try any others.

I replaced the springs with wolff springs, they are lighter than stock. I think they are 9lb hammer and 6.5lb trigger.

Took it out and the misfires are still there. It seems totally random, not just in certain cylinders. I was marking and watching. We ran a few cylinders of Winchester Personal Defense and they all had nice deep indents on the primers. Has anyone had problems with WWB having hard primers? I am thinking it could be a combination between that and the lighter hammer spring. Thanks in Advance.

Sounds like you've answered your own question. The problem began when you lightened the factory springs. Then you installed after-market springs that are lighter out of the box. Try installing factory-strength springs and see what happens.

Thanks Bryan, I had hoped there was a way to make it reliable with the wolff springs.

Anyone running light springs in a small frame having problems with the cheap Winchester practice ammo? Are these primers especially hard? If its only certain types of ammo that will cause a problem, then I dont mind. I will find out though trial and error, but I would love to hear about personal experience with these light springs. The trigger pull is awesome, and its working well with carry ammo (which is quite cheap BTW).
