Are the parts between a Taurus 92 AF and a Beretta 92FS interchangeable? Especially the grips and magazines?

Care to elaborate? PT 92AF can't use 92FS Magazines? That's the main thing for me, I've never seen Taurus Magazines for sale around North KCMO but I have seen Beretta Magazines.

I do know from experience that standard Beretta grips wont fit the Taurus decocker models because of the ambi-safety lever. I cant say about the magazines, even though I have a couple surplus for the M9 that an retired army seargent gave me. I dont remember where I put the, and I dont think they will fit so I keep putting it off.

I found this out the hard way. I came home from Germany with a Taurus I bought from a friend, and my issued Beretta mags and accessories. I bought some rubber grips and I had to file the left side down to accomodate the safety. Looked horrible. I later found the correct Taurus grips and put them on. I had several Beretta mags, and the locking latch notch is too small. I was about to take them to my grandfather's old bench-mounted grinder, until a wise person advised me that if I made the gap too big, the magazine wouldn't work at all. (Imagine trying a tap-rack-bang drill and never making the magazine seat?) I held onto them until the ban and sold them for like $30 each.

I had problems with the T-92, the DA was slipping, light firing pin strikes, I got rid of it.

The Taurus has a larger slot for the magazine retainer. You could theoretically file the smaller open with a file, but the other way around would give you a sloppy fit and non-existent feeding. CDNN and a host of other sites sell them both very reasonably (http://www.cdnninvestments.com/higcapfacor.html).

The first is Taurus, the second Beretta. The slots appear to be at different heights as well.

Damn. I thought that given these were basically the same pistol they'd have some interchangeable parts. Hope someone around here carries Taurus magazines.

I have fit beretta 92 magazines to my taurus pt92/99 with,

Absolutely no problems. As a matter of fact I have fit original Beretta magazines and aftermarket ones as well. It was simple, no problem at all.

It has been pretty well covered here.
Tolerence and positioning are completely different between the Taurus and the Beretta.

Does that include the Hammer Spring Cap/Lanyard, the hammer spring, and the actual screws for the grips?

The barrels will exchange and the recoil springs but not anything else of the major parts.

Aren't there aftermarket mags that have two-width notches cut so that both guns will work? I'm pretty sure I've seen them. But anyways, Taurus mags are dirt cheap and you'll find them at any gun show or online.
