Hi

Recently I have had the itch to buy a .22 revolver for recreational shooting. Ammo is not getting any cheaper these days. Yesterday I saw a stainless Taurus 94 with a 5 inch barrel selling for $345 at the local gun shop. Do folks here have personal experience with this revolver, is the price good, is the gun any good? Can the grip be swapped for a bigger one? What kind of accuracy can I expect? How ammo sensitive is this beast? I am very tempted to buy it next week.

This same gun was my first one and I have always loved it. Very accurate and the ammo is extremely cheap. I purchased crimson laser grips for mine.

For that price you can get 2 Heritage Rough Riders. They come in all different barrel lengths( 3 1\2" to 7 1\2") and several girip styles. They even have the same gun chambered in .32 H&R Magnum. They are not as highly finished as Rugers or S&W's but for the price I don't think you can beat them. They go bang every time I pull the trigger and hit the target if I do my part. I am looking for another 1 or 2 for my collection and I am looking for a used .32 H&R mag.

I had one it shot well, but I had ejection problems I was using high velocity ammo.I have since found that the use of sub-sonic or std velocity would have eleviated this problem.I have been thinking of getting another.
