Taurus, mag release

I have a Taurus 24/7Pro. I like it---have had it about two years, a few thousand rounds through it and only wiped the bore a couple of times. It has operated totally flawliessly. My nephew has a 9mm and one of the 45's. They have been flawless, we both like them. So, I started looking at another, the PT-845. I found the mag release is so tough I take both thumbs to drop the mag. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I like the gun, the way it handles and fits my hand. But that mag release is totally unmaginable, at least for me. Tell me about it.

I have a PT845 and other than the mag release its an awesome gun. I agree, they should have done a better job on that part. It works, but like you said it is difficult to manipulate. I thought it was just mine, maybe its a design flaw.
