Does anyone know where I can find a good set of night sights for a Taurus Millennium Pro, PT140? I saw the Williams FireSights fit the Mil Pro, but as they are just fiber optic and not tritium, I have heard they are kinda weak and dim at night. I would prefer green over red if possible. I think the Trijicon sights are only for Millenniums, not Millennium Pros.

You can find them by searching google's froogle with a bit of ease. As near as I can tell, the millennium and millennium pro have identical sights.

Or are you wanting the 'new' 2-dot heine style sights?

Well this is right from the Trijicon website "Please note that the
TS01 will not work with the Millennium Pro variation pistols with the
dovetail front sight."

This leads me to believe that Millennium Pros and Millenniums have some differences, at least in the front sights.

Any answer about whether the PT145 has the same front sight(dovetail) as the PT140? The Trijicon site defiantly says that the sight will not work on Mil Pro handguns, but people with Mil Pro .45s seem to say otherwise.

There was an earlier generation of the Mil Pro which did not have the rail and it also was a true DAO and not DA/SA. This version also had the sights that are held in with a screw and will accept the Trijicon night sights. I forgot that the Gen2 Mil Pro did away with the older sight system.

Basically you have:

Millenium PT145 (DAO and screw in sights)
Millenium Pro PT145 (Gen 1 with DAO and screw in sights)
Millenium Pro PT145 (Gen 2, DA/SA, rail and sight dovetail)

This is the front sight of my PT140 Pro.

This is a 140, not a 145 btw. It is DAO, not DA/SA, and it does not have a rail. I got it used, so I am not sure what generation it is. Any idea on how I can tell? Do you know if the Trijicon sight will work on this weapon? And are there any issues with the rear sight that might make the Trijicon not work?

Hmmm, must be a 1.5 Gen.....

Unfortunately you will not be able to install the Trijicon's. Here is what my Mil Pro looks like and the Trijicon sights.

BTW- the front sight isn't crooked it just looks that way because of the angle.

Not that I am aware of. You might want to contact Trijicon and see if they will drill and fill your existing sights since that is basically how they are put together in the first place.

Good luck!
