I have a PT111 MilPro with HiViz sights and a Hogue Handsall, Jr.. I own compacts by HK, Walther, Sig, Steyr, RIA, Glock and a few others I'm not remembering at the moment, and this is the gun that I cannot beat. It's completely reliable, accurate, light and small, comfortable in the hand, and it holds 12 rounds of 9mm. Mine is the older double action only which I far prefer for my use. I hope to add the .45 version when a double action only can be found. I do not care for the new SA/DA versions as there is no way to de-cock the gun without dumping the mag and racking the slide allowing the round to fall through the grip. That said the safety (also on the DA only) allows one to carry the gun what amounts to locked and cocked. I think Taurus had it right the first time with the DA only. My DA only trigger is smooth and light. At a little under or over three bills for a new gun it's hard, if not impossible, to beat.
