The gun itself just felt like there wasn't any forward rake to the grip design; that it was too straight and vertical.

I absolutely love the ergonomics of my PT-145 Millennium Pro. Mine is a 3rd generation model with SA/DA second strike capability. It has been flawless through 5000 rounds. There was one cartridge that required a second strike but that was 2000 rounds ago and it hasn't happened again so clearly it was a cartridge issue.

What I remember about the Gen 2 models is that some had a mag release that would let go if you barely touched the button. There were fixes for that and not all models had the problem.

I still think my PT-145 is among the best CCW pistols I've ever seen. It's small enough that I can cover it completely with my hand but yet it holds 10+1 rounds of .45. Of course the 9mm version holds even more ammo. The grips on my gun are only 1.25" which is amazing for a double stack .45. There are single stack pistols that are thicker. And mine is very accurate out to about 20 yards. I still carry it at times but I have gone with smaller pistols since then. And I carry a .40 with much higher capacity in the truck. Still if I need to go inside a place where there might be trouble I can't imagine a better pistol to have with me. The fact the price was low really doesn't enter into this. It does an excellent job no matter what the price. I have more expensive pistols but they aren't more effective unless I need to shoot a lot farther.
