    Too late. I wanted one but waiting a year was too long. Ordered an STI instead.

    Well, if you're impatient for a good Taurus metal-framed 9mm along essentially BHP/Beretta/1911 lines, you could always get a PT911.

    I believe RSR still has some in stock. They had six when I ordered mine.

    Pay no attention to the odd-looking grip. Very comfortable.
    It has an oversized front-sight dot, and points naturally.
    No, it's not a 1911, but it's very robust and a good shooter.

    Or, you can wait to see if they do the other 9mm.

    Just sayin' . . .

    Gotta admit, though, that stainless 1911 is lookin' good.

    wow thats a nice looking pistol, if thats in stores soon i'll have to pick one of those up
