Taurus PT745 Millenium Pro-Anybody Own One? How Do You Like it?

I'm in the market for a concealed carry gun in 45ACP. Looking hard at the Taurus PT745. I shoot 45 in a 1911 Gold Cup, and have shot the Springfield XD Compact, and H&K USP Compact. Love all those guns, but want to stay focused on a carry gun in 45 that won't break the budget.

If you own a PT745 I'd be very interested in your feedback. If you have another gun -in the same price range- to recommend-I'd be interested in an alternative.

Have you looked at the Sig P250 .45 subcompact? Anyone have one of those and want to share your thoughts?

A friend had one. It felt good in the hand and the size was nice - not too big, not to small. I tried to like it, but just couldn't get used to the trigger for some reason. I know different generations have slightly different trigger "feel" - I don't remember what this one was.

I have shot a Sig 250 and agree that might be a very good choice for you. It, too, has a long trigger but it feels more like a DA revolver - you can feel it stacking up and getting ready to fire. I didn't feel that with the Taurus.

Takes some getting used to.... but it is a great pistol. Highly recommend it for CCW. Very accurate.
