I have a ~1998 model Taurus PT940 (.40 S&W). This is an all SS gun.
It has functioned flawlessly with over many rounds, but recently came across an issue - the ejector simply came off loose!
I have inspected the ejector, but don't notice anything unusual (but I don't haven't something "normal" to compare it to). I have cleaned/lubed everything. The gun shoots/ejects fine for a mag or two, but then the ejector comes loose again. The ejector has a tiny spring underneath (it's about 3-4mm). I have installed it both ways (each side doesn't' look identical at edge), but the problem is still there.
I am thinking of sending it back to Taurus, but I want to avoid the hassle and cost of shipping, etc.
Any ideas? Where can I buy a replacement ejector+spring?
