I am getting my RB paid down & soon it will be mine i have counted the days until i make the finial payment & bring her home . I had a Taurus RB 8 3.8" in blue i kept it in a nylon holster & the buling started to fade at the end of barrel on both side & the edges of the cyclinder so i finally sold it & now its not going to be a problem for me anymore .Ive been loading 44 magnums ever since the last of Febuary & i have made some good progress i am up to 750 loaded rounds counting 100 special hunting rounds i made using the Hornady FTX 225 gr i have got to order the scope i am going to put on it . The scope i is a BSA Edge 2x7x32mm . I already have the Taurus Mounting bracket ill just need a good set of rings give me some choices so i can get the best for the money i am gonna be spending on them fellsa let me know what you all think

Only a 3.8" barrel? And a scope. Might want to look at something like small light luppy or burris halo type site. Quicker on target and with a small 3"dot or less shoot tight groups with out dealing with a scopes full view, well centered and controled retical to hit your target. Sounds like your about ready for some range time.

I believe he's getting an 8 and 3/8" barrelled RB, not a 3.8" barrel. Could be wrong but that's the length I have in a Casull.
