Taurus & S&W cylinder release.

Does anyone know if the cylinder release on a Taurus Model 66 is interchangeable with a K frame S&W cylinder release?

Don’t know but a couple years ago I lost the one on my old 686 while out shooting. I called S&W and they mailed me a new one for free. I even got the old style release which was correct for my gun
