Unfortunately I never had the oppurtunity to see the taurus before I bought my Diamondback, which sadly needs to be sent back to the factory for repairs as I type this.
I was considering the TCP because it had the last round fired stay open slide, came with a second magazine, and came with a Bulldog PDA style conceal holster.
I ordered that same holster for my Diamondback last week.
And considering where you buy these pistols the TCP will be cheaper by at least $50.00.
Along with the extras the TCP offers that might be what tilts them in that direction.
Fwiw I paid $325.00 for my DB but my FFL asked me not to mention his place as he isn't likely to make that deal for everyone.
I have used him to transfer several firearms in the last year.
What I truely like about the DB is how ergonomically correct it fit MY hand.
I also truely like the ease in which it is field stripped.
Not to mention it's sights are certainly much beter than the LCP and P3AT from Kel-Tec.
Although I am certainly bummed I have to send my DB back in for repairs(magazine is popping out after every shot) I like it enough that I am actually considering possibly buying another one to have in reserve.
But I certainly would like to give the Taurus a try as well.
My two cents on the subject.
