I picked up a TCP at a gunshow a couple of weeks ago, got my first chance to try it out today.
Put 70 rounds through it - 50 of 100gr ball from an independent manuf. (gunshow purchase) and 20 rounds of Magtech 77gr HP's.
From 7-10 yards it shoots about 4" low. Recoil was not bad at all considering the size & weight of the gun.
Before shooting, I painted the front sight orange and the rear sight flat black just to make them more visible to my old eyes.
One magazine (gun comes with two) would lock the slide back after five rounds, the other worked flawlessly. While giving the gun it's initial cleaning, I disassembled one mag, cleaned and lubed it but not the other one. I'm guessing the uncleaned one was the problem child. After the third or fourth loading it functioned fine.
Had one FTF with the ball ammo, I'll write that off to an ammo problem rather than a fault with the gun itself.
Overall I'm pleased with the little bugger. I need to put more ammo downrange with it, but at $1.00 a round for premium ammo (when you can find it!) it may be a while before that happens.

I love mine. No FTFs or FTEs in 70+ rounds, and in a couple weeks Ill be putting at least 100 more through. Its still in need of breaking in as the slide is tough to manipulate. Mine shot pretty accurately too.

That gun seems like a great deal for the price. Sorry to hear it shoots low. I've got a pt709 that shoots a little low too. I'm starting to think that Taurus doesn't put rear sights on their guns that are of proper height.
