Has anyone had a positive experience with this rifle? 'Seems to be negative both here, as well as elsewhere on the Web. I have a friend who was one LNIB,for sale, for $350. The gun has had 50 rounds through it, which I personally, observed being fired. There were no malfunctions of any kind and accuracy was more than adequate, for a rifle of this type. This rifle would be used primarily, for plinking and not CAS. My friend wants to acquire the Beretta version of the Colt, hence, the need to sell..........Thanks.

I know what you're saying, lot of hatefull stuff regards the thunderbolt.

Mine works fine and shoots really well. No problems with factory loads but lots of misfires with my handloads. No big deal; just put a shim under the hammer spring close to where it screws into the frame. The additional tension and a different brand of primers seems to cured the problem. $ 350.00 seems like a pretty good deal to me even if the thing winds up needing a little tinkering to make everything right. Seems like all these cowboy guns (except perhaps the USFA stuff) need some sort of TLC anyway !

Mine shoots well...as long as it doesn't get dirty from under-power loads blowing crap back through the action. If you can feel a 'pulse' on the face when you shoot....mine will be tying up within 100 rounds.

Nice rifles that need full power/pressure ammo to function well.

I wanted to like them because I love pump actions. I am just leary. I have known a couple of guys that bought them and had trouble with them and accuracy was lacking.

I'd say it's hard to go wrong for $350......if you don't like it someone else will be willing to try it out for the same price.
