I am considering getting into a 45 and like the looks and feel of the Taurus 24/7 OSS and the Sig 250 also like the feel of the Taurus 845. I know the bad Taurus rep with QC and customer service and the past problems with the Sig poly guns. I would appreciate any real world experience with these especially the 24/7 OSS.

I bought an OSS in .45 ACP last year. I really like the gun and it fits me and shoots very well. There is nothing about the gun that I dislike.

Having said that it is now in Miami for a trigger problem. It will not stay in the cocked position from shot to shot and reverts back to DA mode at least 75% of the time.

Since I really like this gun I will keep it as long as they actually fix it.

If I can find another one in 9mm reasonably priced I will get one of those also. If not I'll save up for the Springfield Armory XDm Competition model.

My cousin bought an 845 just before I bought the OSS and I like is as well, but I like the OSS slightly better.

I had a NIB PT845 I got for half price via a radio station promotion sale. I couldn't pass up the sweet deal. My plan was to flip it, which I did, but I took this 845 for a few range trips before selling it and was impressed with it. No problems that I recall(not that I shot it much). I do remember it was comfortable and shot very well + I believe it had a 13+1 capacity.
