Brought a TC 2.5 x20 scope to use on my G1 contender. Started to mount it and seen bottom of scope has a rib. Conventional rings that I have won't work. Anyone know what type rings I need to search for ? I know it sounds dumb, but it has me puzzled.

IRRC, there were two clamps that covered each side of the entire rib.

You need the TC Mount that goes with that scope.
