What is the maximum Black Powder load you should shoot in these. I got it for christmas and shot it twice with 110 Grains, the same as my other traditions one. It handled it fin, but i'm just curiouse.

One other thing i am curiouse about is how the priming system works. If i put the ramrod in while it id un loaded, it has about an inch of it sticking out. If you pull it out and put it up to the barrel with about an inch sticking out from the end of the barrel, but at the other end there is alot of room between the end of the rod verses the cap. I thought that were the "cap tube" entered the barrell, it went right int to the bore. I guess what im getting at is what rought does the primer explosion take to get to the bullet. I know for sure when i put the ramrod in it that it was un loaded.

There's different styles and designs of breech plugs. Here's a common type of patent breech plug that's "hooked" to more easily separate & remove the barrel from the tang [and stock].

First off, glad ya understode that. It's just that my tratitions hawken goes down the nipple, left in the tube and then in to the barrel, where the renagade goesdown the nipple, left in the tube and the there in room from the bottom of the barrel to to where the tube enters the barrel. i was just curiouse as to haw that work.
