I have several small pics which are cropped out of larger ones .. in other words ... a small section (usually) from one gun. Identification is the drill .. ''name that gun'' .... caliber not being of prime importance - just manufacturer and type, where applicable.

Most in fact are probably quite easy for some folks but - for others it might be a fun challenge. Lighten up the day deal! I'll add some others later.

First in fact is less a crop than a component ... a barrel .... just try and identify what it is from. Don't bother to look at pic properties cos filename will tell you squat!




Prizes for right answers? Yep - as usual, last week's or even last month's ... reject cream filled donuts!

Looks like a BHP barrel to me.

OK, I'll guess it's from a Sig.

No - and - no!! Not BHP .. and total length is 2 5/8" nominal.

So - retire that pic but ... what about that second one then? And here is a number 3 to chew on as well ...... shouldn't be too tricky.

That was #4 BTW ... #3 was the BHP.

#8 is a 1911. It looks like a Colt.

Generically yeah - 1911 ... but this is a semi - compact version, produced by?? That's the hard bit on this one.
