Why are they so cheap and why are they in stock?

That's certainly a better price than I've seen one for around here in the past couple of months. Most places don't even have anything in stock AR-wise.

Yep, that is a pretty good deal. They still have them in stock because the panic buying is strangely localized. I can go into any number of stores I know of and see ARs and AKs on the shelf.

If you will note the date in the upper right corner, you will see that you are looking at Oct 2007 prices. The Patrolman model from Impact Guns now sells for $1300. However their standard model is still listed under a grand. The price has increased by $400. on the model you are looking at.

It was a good deal sometime ago. Today if you try to order it from the link it will cost you 1299. Which is a good deal.

What do you think of it as a rifle? I am not new to AR's but would be new to Bushmaster. And don't take the $1300 into account. Just the rifle itself, maybe assuming it was back at 900 or 1000.

The Bushy ORC that I have is basically the same as the one you have listed. I paid $800 about 2 years ago. It has eaten every piece of ammo I have fed it. I fired about 1K rounds through it before I cleaned it the first time. (I know, I know) and its plenty accurate with the EoTech on top. I would not hesitate to buy another one. My buddy has a Stag. It seems to be fine too, but I like the Bushy trigger A LOT better. Good luck!
