Not yet but it is only a matter of time until they push the anti gun bandwagon in VT. Right now they seem to have bigger fish to fry, with universal health care and global warming. Plus VT does not have much violent crime so there is little push by the media, and the people to pass stronger gun laws. But one day they will. Can't have a socialist haven if the unruly subjects have access to weapons.
