I just bought one of these from a guy. Anyone have one or know anything about them? It is like a single stage except it holds 3 dies. It does not turn like a turret though.

Sounds like it's supposed to fill the same niche as a turret press, doesn't it?

CH4D also makes one.

Does this accept standard shellholders, or some wonky type? It could be troublesome to use if that is the case... How about standard dies?

It uses standard dies and shell holders. Its really a pretty nice press. It has a huge handle though, it looks like a shovel handle.

Texan press...

Ohman 11--If the Texan works for you, well & good, use it. The company that made it went out of business years & years ago, so you're on your own as to getting a manual or spare parts.

OTOH, most metallic cartridge reloading presses are built like a brick pizzeria, and nothing on 'em ever fails.

Enjoy!

I have a C&H press like that. I love it. It's very fast for a single-stage press. Does yours take standard shellholders? (that's what you gotta watch out for)
