We'll be hunting out of Garwood, Texas Monday, 12 December. I'm looking forward to unleashing my 10 gauge. Been a while. It'll be my buddy from Waco and a friend of his, Brian, and his friend's father-in-law.

So, last night my buddy calls. He's rounded up another hunt with a guy in Eagle Lake Sunday morning. We're going to hunt Sunday and Monday morning.

So, he tells me he bought this hunting trip to Argentina for doves. He's been wanting to hunt Argentina since I e-mailed some you tube vids of it to him. He'd never heard of it. He bought a spot for him and for his boy, but his boy has to get leave from the army before he can go. He's being transferred to a Texas base, forget which, but it's not Ft Hood. He's an officer in artillery. Anyway, if Dustin can't get leave, Larry wanted to know if I'd go. All i'd have to pay for is air fare and I'll need a passport, never had one of those. Wife says I need to check about it at the post office. Anyway, I'm not going to bother until I find out if Dustin can get leave. Larry says the gun, ammo, everything is included, no extra charges except that we will probably stay a few more days and check out Buenos Aires. Also, his buddy, Brian, that owns the Arctic Cat dealership in Waco, is in cahoots with him, has an uncle that owns a 1000 acre ranch down there and has invited him to hunt Red Stag there.

I guess they won't bring the meat home, but just to get to hunt would be WAY cool even if one didn't shoot a stag.

All depends on Dustin's leave, though. If he gets leave, it'll save me the air fare money.

But, this is something that I might not ever get to do should I not take Larry up on it if Dustin doesn't get leave. I'd be remiss not to take him up on it.

MC,
If you get to go (I hope you do) take my advice... tape your loading thumb every day. And you can thank me when you get home.
