Can anyone point me in a good direction of where i can find the laws of Texas? Im going bore hunting, maybe on private property, but maybe not. I would like to be informed on all the laws before I go which is in about a week.

Boar hunting is not a bore. :D On private land, there's no limits, no rules, no closed seasons on hogs. Just kill 'em all and let god sort 'em out, night, day, baited, run 'em down with a jeep, whatever. Public land, what public land? The few WMAs that have hog hunting, one is near me, have their own rules. The WMA here is open Feb/March and is buckshot only, no bows, no black powder, no rifles, no handguns, only shotguns and only loaded with buckshot. On my land, I trap 'em. :D

Thanks guys and I swear i know that it is spelled boar! it was really early in the morning. :D

that is a pretty good site. I now love texas even more knowing that on private property (that is where i will be hunting by the way) you can do just about anything. lol I love it.

Texas Parks & Wildlife has a website.

800-792-1112 for info.

No license is needed for feral hogs if one is acting as an agent for the landowner, whether resident or non-resident owner or agent.

Same for coyotes attacking, about to attack or which have recently attacked livestock, domestic animals or fowl.
