I want to thank all of you for helping me out with my gun dilemma ....i think i will do some research and check my local gun dealers before i jump out there and buy something i dont want.i am glad i came here for advice...yal have helped more than you know.

Sherrylyn, if you have any sort of dilemma you come here and we'll be glad to help. Watch out for them gun salesmen, they're like politicians, they'll tell you anything to get your money. Good luck.

As noted above, take care with the advise you get from some gun dealers.

We had one lady in a Basic Pistol class that ran out after the first class and bought her first gun (at 63 years old). She listened to the local dealer and got a Lady Smith Titanium in .38 Spl. - - She fired five rounds through it before selling it at quite a loss.
