I know that we have a lot of RMR fans here on THR but I still want to let everyone know about my positive experience.
I placed an order right around Christmas during their 10% off sale. The item was out of stock and back ordered which I fully expected and had no problem with. Last week I realized that I needed a different bullet so I called and asked if they could change my order which hadn’t been shipped yet and apply the already charged amount to my new order. I no longer need as many of the originally ordered item and now need more of the new one (thanks to Santa). Even knowing their great reputation, I expected them to say that once an order is placed and been paid for, they can’t change it but instead they were happy to do it even though it required about ten minutes of work on the part of the gentleman that I was talking to. He did everything while we I was still on the line and even said that he had to figure out how to apply the 10% discount, which had expired two weeks previously, to it. He was able to get it done and most importantly, he seemed happy to do it. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the gentleman I talked to.
I’ve had similar situations a couple of times in the past with different companies and never had success in changing an order. A couple of months ago I made an error on an order and immediately called back to correct it but was unable to do so even though only about fifteen minutes had elapsed.
I think that besides their good prices, this is one of the reasons that so many of us are loyal customers of RMR. Thanks Jake.
