After reading a number of THR threads on removing crimps from 223 and the various case trimmer options, I settled on buying (on sale) a Frankford Arsenal Platinum Case Prep and Trimmer like this one:

Decided today, after a hundred cases, that I need to thank all the wise reloaders at THR...I know that some prefer their World's Finest Trimmers or Little Crow Gunworks devices, but the Frankford fit my needs perfectly as recommended by some of you; My three stages are set to remove primer crimp, chamfer, and deburr, all after trimming, handling each case just once. Once set to length, which took me about 5 minutes the first time, the Platinum Trimmer works fabulous on removing crimps, especially when you purchase the "expansion kit" with the crimp removers. They're very sharp and work in seconds on every case.

Anyway, thanks to all, 'm a happier decrimper/trimmer these days!

You might want to trim before the chamfer& deburr. ;)

Lol. You're right, I do trim first. I wasn't paying attention to order when I listed the actions. I edited the post to try not to be labeled as a complete imbecile.

The FA trim and prep is pretty neat. I do like the speed of the WFT when it comes to just trimming but having the tools all ready so I only handle each case once is very nice, and the versatility of the FA is awesome since it will trim almost any bottleneck case.

Glad you like it, I love mine.
When the cutter seems to not cut as well or easily, get this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0063IDCTE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is a direct replacement carbide cutter...and it works better than the one in the kit.

Also, I had one of these lying around:
https://www.amazon.com/Lyman-Case-P...id=1479473599&sr=8-2&keywords=lyman+case+prep
And the bits in it screw right into the other stations on the Frankford. So those are cheap sources of the other bits you will need eventually.

As did I, and that was what I was using when I first started, before I bought the expansion head. They work, but take more force. Thanks for the link to the carbide cutter, but the reviews say that it doesn't work with the Frankford Arsenal; it has a different thread (8/24 rather than 8/32).

I wonder if a vendor changed it up? That is the link from when I ordered mine a year ago, and it worked perfectly. I actually clicked to that page from the actual order.

Actually it's weird. Some of the reviews say it works and others don't. I might take the $40 gamble when I have to.
