I run operations for the Handgun Club of America, and we got a call the other day from someone who had us confused with “the other guys.” It made me wonder if anyone else has the same perception.
Handgun Club of America is a bunch of straight up, knowledgeable handgun people. We’re a membership organization for people who like to know about, talk about, and own handguns. We talk about all aspects, like what gun to buy for a particular reason, who’s doing what in the handgun world, concealed carry, accessories, training, history, gunsmithing, and anything else our members think is interesting.
We are not the US Concealed Carry Association, and we have no connection to Tim Schmidt.
We publish a newsletter called Pistols & Revolvers, which members tell us they really like, but our real specialty is what I like to call “Stump the chump.” Members send in questions, and our guys answer them. In all the years we’ve been around, I’ve never heard Bill Caffrey say, “I don’t know.”
By the end of the call, the guy wasn’t confused anymore, and said he was going to call back and set up a membership for his son because he really likes what we have to say.
If anyone else out there has the same perception, please check us out at www.handgunclub.com. With all due respect, I think you’ll quickly see the difference between us and “the other guys.”
Thanks,
Gayle
