Thankys guys for all the advice you gave me RE my new AR15 - and what I have been able to glean from this site!
Range day today with my first AR15 build up-the rifle I have always wanted with
accessories I wanted--sighting for 50 yard zero with red dot ( eyes are crap
)
Shooting Win Q3131 - my av group - back to the wall and shooting with sling was
10 rds under a dime ( I put a dime over it, covered the group!)
'Worst' group was with some on hand wolf HP- about the size of a nickle- still not bad
Fired 100 rds with 10 rds from each mag, no problems at all- ran like a champ
just let her rip with 200 rds of wolf ,just for fun on pumpkins and 100 yards and there was pie makins a plenty- good fun, and rifle ran well!
