That pistol which you hate to love!

Honestly, i need to add my LCP.
I can't say that I have any problem with carrying mine - actually my Wife's as she's co-opted it now - but I CAN say this; I don't recall ever getting so much crap for carrying anything as I have for that. It just seems to piss some fellas right the hell off.
Gee, sorry I'm not carrying a Bren-Ten or 67 round Glock!

My Ruger P89, I've run thousounds of rounds through it, I hate the way it feels in my hand compared to my 1911's or any of my wheel guns, but clean, dirty, it always goes bang and is pretty accurate.......it's just too damn reliable to part with.
happy shootin'

Every time I think about buying a Walther PP/K I fire a magazine out of my 9x18 FEG PA63 - uncomfortable shooter. Picked it up for $125 when they were readily available. Not worth selling.

My favorite beater is this rough looking FN Hi Power. Don't have worry about the finish:

I was going to post a photo of my Bersa Firestorm .22LR, but you win with that .32 ACP version as I've never seen one before. :D
I've got the Firestorm .22 too. Love that pistol!

The .32 happened kind of by chance. I was looking Bersas on Bud's, and there it was. It was a "Members Only" item, and I actually joined their stupid club just to get it. I love .32s -- don't know why, but I do. Here's my .32 roster:

Bersa Thunder
Walther PP
CZ 83
Colt 1903
Kel-Tec P32

I just need a Beretta Tomcat and the ultra-rare .32 version of the SIG P230, and I'll call it good. Not "complete," but "good."

I also have a Colt Army Special revolver in .32-20 and a Ruger SP101 revolver in .327 Federal, but I'm not sure if those count.

Mine is also a Tokarev. A Romanian made TT33, also with the manual safety added to satisfy the US import regulations (why a butt-zillion different DAO foreign made semis can be imported without one is beyond me). This thing is just stupid. Ugly, sloppy machining, poor finish (except the blueing which is excellent). You can see tooling marks in the rifling. I never have cleaned the cosmo out of it more than hosing it down with brake parts cleaner a couple of times. What it does is sling commie surplus ammo that looks like it was dug out of a bombed out bunker in Bulgaria very accurately and reliably with an impressive muzzle flash and blast. Cuts down bowling pins usually every shot at 50 yards if I remember to squeeze and follow through on very long and stiff trigger which is reminiscent of strangling a weasel with my trigger finger. It will also hold minute of police silhouette at 100+ with remarkably little holdover and Kentucky. After shooting the commie ammo, I literally run water through the barrel (field stripped) with a garden hose, swab the other parts that may have come in contact with combustion residue with a patch dipped in my windshield washer reservoir, heat it up with a propane torch to dry thoroughly, and hose the whole thing down with penetrating oil before putting it away for next time I feel like taking some punishment. Wish some more Tok surplus would come around, I'd shoot it more. Keeping a tight leash on what I have left.

Doggone it if YOU don't exactly "get it" too! That sums up the point of view perfectly.

Like that weird mixed-breed mutt that wandered into my garage years ago. Worst pet I've ever had but the BEST dog I've ever known!
