The 100 yard 870 - how?

I've heard really good things about the new Federal TruBall smoothbore slugs - they've got a polymer ball in the rear cup of the slug. When the cartridge goes off the ball supposedly helps the sides of the cup flare symmetrically and keeps the slug centered in the barrel, greatly improving accuracy.

Or so they say, of course. Anyone tried these things out?

Has anyone tried out the Rem (or any other brand) reduced recoil slugs at 100 yards?

That's what the guys were shooting in my class. They were hitting the target at 100 yards.

I was using the full power slugs. That's why I quit after about 10 rounds. :(

Did you happen to notice how much of a difference in drop there was between the full power slugs and the reduced recoil?
