Thanks to everyone on my other thread about M4's who recommended the BCM line. I finally got the lower today, and attached it to the upper I received last week.

I added a Troy flip-up rear sight, Troy 7.0 rail, EOTech 517, Magpul vertical grip, VLTOR light mount, Streamlight LED light. I also have on it a Sightmark 3X magnifier (which I'm giving away free with any EOTech sight purchase this month; shameless plug) just for the range. I'm going to put the magnifier in a flip-to-side mount once that item arrives.

All together I put $1575 into the gun, including the flip-to-side mount that hasn't yet arrived. I only mention the price because I think I did well with the sale prices and my sources, and I'm waiting to hear from someone who says that I could have gotten it cheaper at XYZ.com. ;)

Next stop is the range to see how well it shoots. The trigger is very heavy compared to the Milazzo-Krieger two-stage trigger I have in my other AR, but I'll see how this one works before considering a Timney or Milazzo-Krieger. The receiver-to-lower fit is impressive. There's very little movement compared to the S&W M&P15, Bushmaster and Olympic Arms models I looked at.

Victory is yours!
Great looking piece. Sounds like you did very well on the price too given how it's outfitted. I'm sold on BCM after getting mine.
I prefer a standard trigger for an all-business AR and save the high end two stages for the long range accuracy oriented rifles. Reliable and fast.

I just built a rifle that is mostly BCM. I used the SS410 16" barrel. It's a tack driver. I've never been crazy about service triggers. You might want to consider the Geiselle SSA. They go for around $175 and it's a drop in proposition and has no adjustments to come unadjusted.

Very nice build.

The upper was from Bravo Company and the lower from G and R Tactical.

The accessories I got through my distributors (RSR, Landmark Outdoor, Sports South).

Good looking rifle. Id stick with the standard trigger for a defense gun. They might not be the best, but they are reliable. Supposedly the Geissel (spelling?) triggers are a "combat worthy" match trigger, but they cost a lot.
