Hey y'all! Just wanted to share a nice shot I took earlier today. I call it 'Burnished Sky and Brass'.

I'll try to add another or two.

(my friend shooting my Garand)

Excuse the handguard, the old boy's not refinished for the last time!

That c.1955 Garand doesn't look like much but can really shoot. Got 8-for-8 clay pigeons at 100 yds at one point during the day! (they were not flying, however...)

She was, I think she ripped them off out of frustration for the glare looking towards the sun. She should protect those pretty eyes, though...

But yes, I think it's a great likeness, and brought out the color of the winter grass about.

Gotta go +1 on that!

I don't know how folks of middle to small stature find it; for me the width makes for an almost perfect fit to the forward hand and the balance is outstanding. With a sling sitting or standing the trigger hand holds none of the weight. What you can see, you can hit.
 
I make no claims to know what I'm doing with a camera, let alone someone's phone.

I just thought it was amazing to have caught a case in the air like that!
