I was wondering why the Classic Lee loader isn't being made in .40 and 10mm. I would figure if they came in something like 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser , that those two calibers wouldn't be a problem. Does Lee plan on releasing any Classic loaders for those calibers?

safety maybe? Hassle? The 40 case is prone to buldging in most of the guns that fire it, Glocks are particularly bad about it. I'm not sure about the 10mm. I'm sure they've probably thought about it, but with the inexpense of their basic presses and dies, the Lee Loader might not be worth the extra effort on the hammer. Demand is also a driving force in the market. Maybe they just don't feel like re-tooling. Heck, call them up and ask them why. Maybe they'll tell you.

If you're hung up on storage space or portability, the Lee Hand Press and set of dies would only be slightly more expensive, and would do the 40/10mm.

My guess is much like the 7.26 x 54 Russian, they are probably already set up for the few they offer, but will never expand their offereing. I think they are a tool of the past based on how many they offered compared to how many are offered now. With the low price of dies and presses, I'll bet their sales are way down, but they don't want to completely nix them since they are well known for them.

get a hand press for $20 and a set of dies. It ain't that much more money and you can still do the whole process while watching american idol.
