Every time somebody buys a Glock a puppy dies, I hope you can sleep well tonight.

Just kidding, congrats on the purchase!

No,no,no. buying a Glock has nothing to do with the dark side.

The "dark side" is a reverential term and refers to shooting black powder, usually simply called "the holy black."

After you've shot it long enough so that you get a jones if you go for more than a couple of days without inhaling sulfur fumes, you become an "attendant soot lord." When you begin snorting a couple of lines of BP before breakfast, you are graduated to "Bona Fide Soot Lord." And finally when you put BP in your pepper shaker and use it as an ordinary kitchen condiment with every meal and insist that your wife and children do the same, you ascend to the rarified heights of Exalted Master of the Holy Black and Keeper of the True Faith."

So you must not toss that term around lightly lest some crazy old Soot Lord on THR puts a hex on you and your Glock turns into a jamomatic.

I, at one time, never would have thought I would own a plastic pistol much less two. I now own a GLOCK 23 and 27. Butt ugly utility guns that are reliable and accurate, which is what I require.

Every time I see "dark side" in a thread title on a gunboard, I know it's got something to do with buying a Glock.
