So I get up today and for the first five seconds it is OK until I realize I didn't set my alarm so I missed class. I figure whatever just one class. So I go outside and watch T.V. for a few minutes when I get a call from my brother to help him move some furniture. I go to his new place and am helping him move a cabinet when I twist the hell out of my wrist. So now I have a hurt hand and can't really help. A 20 minute drive to help move one thing six feet...what a waste. So I get home and wait for the girlfriend to get off work so we can go shopping for my nephews and niece. She calls and says I am a terrible boyfriend??? What the hell did I do now? I guess I forgot that I was supposed to meet her at her house to go shopping? Now she has found just about every little thing I have done wrong lately to complain about. We have been together for four years, so I don't think we will split, but I do know from a four year relationship that this is NOT about me forgetting, but I can't seem to get the bottom of it. :banghead: So I say to myself "Hey I can bring the dog in for some loving company." Go outside and find the gate open. SO after searching for two hours I come home to call the pound. Pick up the phone only to see Buddy outside! Where he was I'll never know, but he has a limp! So who knows if he will be okay? What a pain of a day:(

yeah, there are certainly days when it would be better to call a time-out than to try and muddle thru them.

grab a gun and hit the range for some group therapy. you'll feel much better.

30-06;

This oughta put it into perspective for ya. My wife, of 34 years, is the office manager/dispatch for a drain cleaning service. When she has a bad day it can literally get s - - - - y! I gotta live with her.

I do not go to the range. I go kill gophers. See? Everything is one of magnitude higher. However, you do have my sympathies.

The gods are trying to warn you terrible things will happen if you don't put in enough range time. Pay heed!

He may not be able to.

I go to his new place and am helping him move a cabinet when I twist the hell out of my wrist.

Go to bed try again tomorrow....

.... oh, and thanks for making me feel better about my day. :evil:

You just made my day seem a whole lot better. I'm happy that it was not me. The good news is that most days will be better, the bad news is there will still be some lousy days. Hope everything works out OK.

Well today was much better. I got to check out my dog's leg in the light of day which help a lot. He has a small cut on the pad...no biggie. I got to talk to my girlfriend and what really is bothering her is my lack of love toward her lately. (I have been unaffectionate due to stress) I got to email my teacher about the class I missed and he said it was an easy day and not to worry. My wrist is still messed up, but I got a splint on it and is is a lot better. Thanks for the replies!
