I just noticed that http://www.thefiringline.com is back online. How long has that been the case? I thought it was closed for good and visited there recently to search the archives only to find that it was back up and running. Now I'll have to waste twice as much time on the internet reading gun posts....

There were some other threads like yours.
Basically, everybody who had the e-mail notification enabled in their profile recieved a notice. Of course, if you changed e-mail addresses, you did not get this notification.
Many posted here before it opened. I actually found out here before seeing the notification in my e-mail.
