Over the couple of weeks, many people have commented on the untimely passing of Stephen Camp and his great contributions to the shooting community.

Do any close acquaintances of Mr. Camp know what is being done to preserve "www.hipowersandhandguns.com"?

It would be a double tragedy if all the vast knowledge complied on his site were to simply vanish when the domain name expires.

It is my understanding that his wife is still running and maintaining the site. She is fill orders for books etc... since Mr Camps passing.

I assume this will continue for the near future.
 
It'd be a shame to lose it but without a grey beard sage to keep filling the thing with the occassional article it'll be hard to keep it going. boxotruth, gunblast, snubfiles, good articles once a month help keep a website like that going, hopefully some good sages and wise folk from the scene help contribute articles.

There are several people over on Hipowertalk.com that have the gravitas in the Hi Power world to contribute credible information and keep Stephens legacy up to date. One of them is GP35FN who is an encyclopedia of Hi Power history. Another is JayPee who is probably the leading expert on FEG's and other Hi Power clones.
 
Mr. Camp's website is a treausure, as he was/is. I found his website while searching for pre-buy info on my Hi-Power. Loads of valuable, CORRECT information written by a Hi-Power fan. It would be a shame to let Mr. Camp's legacy wither away. I never met the man, but he informed and educated me, and more than likely countless thousands of other people.
