I know we all have several 1/2 and 3/4 boxes of bullets setting on the shelf in the gunroom that we bought and they just wouldnt work/something else was better/sold the gun/whatever, they are there gathering dust. How about a swap? List what you have and what you want and lets trade them around, help everyone out.

I know for me if I cant get the first 50-60 to shoot, the rest set on the shelf till I get a new rifle in that diameter. So put your gear on the table and lets put together some load development trades.

My thought was to list something like this:

box of 60 .277 140 gn Sierra GameKings
box box of 100 .277 110 gn Hornady VMax

Looking for bullets in 6mm and 6.5mm for trade

Just my luck- nothing to trade in 6mm or 6.5, but those are 2 of my favorite bullets!
Will it screw up this thread if I ask, how much do you want for them?

P.S. I have some Hornady roundnose hardcast .38/.357, 45 or so, that was gathering dust.I put those on a Pay It Forward on another forum,but no takers so far.Anybody need 'em?
 
GREAT IDEA ~Z I'll jump in. I can provide cast bullets 124g .355, 158g .358, 175g .401 and 240g .430... I'm looking for jacketed .429 bullets and .308 anything.

brass

i don't have any lead i'm not using but i have a bunch of brass laying around...
at least 250 casings for .223 mostly R-P, and 100 casings with markings i don't recognize so i don't know if it's boxer primed or not.
also ~250 casings for .380

i reload 9mm and .38/.357 so i'd be interested in brass or lead for either
 
I've got (125) 200-gr wadcutters and (43) 185-gr wadcutters- sized .430" and tumbled in alox.

Looking for 124/125-gr RN .355/.356 9mm slugs also .308 rifle M80 type projectiles (147 FMJBT or something around there).

Also have (60) .45 Colt brass. Some other odd brass.

I have a few items for sale or trade:

2 boxes of 6.5MM 100 gr spitzers

3 boxes of 100 ea of 140 gr 270's (.277)

would trade or sell.

These came from a sale at Midway as part of a blemished sale and were repackaged . I can see no blemishes at all I guess I got lucky with what I got. I have opened one package of the 270s and some .30 cal. I am keeping they are fine.

Preferr to trade for 45 acp, or 10MM, or .30 cal

I may be interested in taking some of those 6.5s off your hands. Are they Midway bullets? And what weight of 30 cal bullets are you looking for?

Im not sure what exactly I have at home, but I know there are some 7mm bullets, .45acp brass and some carbide RCBS 45acp (grey box?) dies at home that I have that isnt used. Im not even sure how good of condition they are as they were given to me and I never opened any of it up.
 
~Z the bullets came from Midway, the description was manufacturer's have discontinued this item. I assume they were in a bulk state and some were tarnished. I have not opened these but the ones I opened were OK. They were as I described 100 gr. spritzers past that I have no idea , I am not famililar with rifle bullets by sight, I have yet to reload my first rifle round. I have only reloaded 10MM and 45acp.
If you want to trade me .30 cal bullets I suppose I would like something in 140 - 160 range as I already have many heavier bullets on hand.
 
Griz, I forgot to check the brass last night. I got busy mowing the lawn and such. Ill have to check, but its 50 to 100 I think.
Im not really looking for anything for the brass. After I get home Ill post qty, and headstamp and tumble it. I will probably send it to you for free if you want it. I dont load .45acp, so it isnt doing me any good. Im going to hope for a trade on the dies if they are still in good shape.
 
Sorry, no molds for .41. What are you looking for 45 cal for? 45 long colt or 45 ACP? The bullets I cast are Lee tumble lube (.452) at 230gr and I shoot them in both cartridges. Would be glad to do some swaps. PM me with your info and I will send some to you.
 
I have 1000 of Privi .224 FMJ 62 grain bullets and would rather have 1000 hornady 55gr FMJbt/WC any takers for a swap?

I'm looking for .45 acp bullets. Mainly for target, additionally, I use them for hunting piggies. PM with info headed to you.
