I went in to my local gun store today to ask a question. First thing when I walk in one of the guys says "do you want one of these" So I look over and the have a Street Sweeper on the wall (I've been wanting one for a while just because they are so evil, I'm suprised that they didn't have it chained down because you never know when it will jump up and shot someone :scrutiny: ). So I said yes right there and then looked at the price. They wanted $625 for it (I said dam that cheap). It is new in the box never been fired( just missing the directions). Now I just have to wait for the Gov to say I'm a good boy and give me there very expensive stamp. I can't wait to shot it, 12 shot of 12ga at one time will be fun :D .
 
I guess you must be one of those mentally deranged sorts that gets thrills out of pulling the wings off of flies and stomping puppies! Sicko! Why in the world would anyone need a terrible, violent assault tool of wanton mass destruction like that?

The shop owner had one a few years ago and couldn't give it away, so that's why he priced it so low. He didn't think it would sell to fast. The waiting is going to kill me. I will just have to go down and fondal it one's a week. Dam gun shop always tempting me with guns.

So, did they ask everyone that came in if they wanted it, or just you?

I just like stuff that is diffrent (and they know it). I just came from the gun store and it does come with directions. I'm suprised it was that cheap also, that why I had to take it before they came to there senses.
 
A part of the AW ban that didn't sunset placed Streetsweepers and USAS 12 shotguns on the list of destructive devices.

IIRC they were banned by the AWB, and in '95 they were classified as DDs.
 
Ah, yes. A Streetsweeper would fall under the heading of "Needfull Things". Kind of makes you wonder if there is a large, black, late '30s Mercedes motoring out of NO right now.
 
You may want to take that thing out and fire it awhile, then disassemble it before you get too excited. Nice purchase though :)
