Because we skippin right over H4.
Here is the standard length carbine buffer that holds 3 buffer weights in H5, for suppressed carbines.
Its a stainless body liberty buffer body filled with tungsten. A typical aluminum buffer body weighs 0.8oz, the stainless weights a beefy 2.2oz by its self. Total weight is 7oz all wrapped up.
But wait there's more. I cut a dimple in the rear most tungsten and fitted an AR sear spring down in the dimple. The buffer bumper also has a dimple. That little spring holds all the mass forward so it's there as the bolt starts to move.

Cycles no problem with 55gr bullet and a start load of H322. It's almost perfectly gassed, cases eject forward ever so slightly.
Full power, max load 5.56 will probably be over gassed.

Some people will be like "jUsT GeT an aDJustablE gASS bLOck".
Well I have a buddy that runs carbines with silencers, adjustable gas block and H3 buffer and factory ammo and his gun throws them forward. If he turns it down to where it's not over gassed then it short strokes occasionally. Tried adjustable gas block plus standard 3oz up to H3 buffer, says H3 is most consistent.
Since I already know suppressed, H3 buffer, an adjustable gas block and M4 carbine buffer is almost where it needs to be, I'm just going beyond that. I have an extended "A5 carbine tube" that uses the classic rifle spring and a "stopper" to limit bolt travel.
