This is a little 40 cal rifle the wife made about 15 years ago. She used Thompson Center parts. Green Mt. barrel 40 caliber. She loads a .410 ball
.020 thick Teflon coated patch and 50 grs. Goex FFF. Rifle has both peep
and open sights. Has a Lyman Globe front sight with inter changable inserts.
Has won the Missouri State Championships several times. Barrel is 30 inches.

Nice! I've just been getting into .40 cal myself with a new Colrain barrel.

What's the source of teflon coated patches? I've heard rumors of them but never seen one. I thought the stuff was toxic.
 
This list of outfits producing teflon patch material is old so it may be outdated. Using teflon patching requires that the barrel be swabbed between every shot.
