IIRC the Marines were doing trials with a .47 cal rifle for snipers, It appeared to be a necked down .50 bmg. I dont live in Kali but I am thinking if buying a .50 bmg anyway, cause if sKerry gets in we will probally need a permit for a spitball.

hmmm... think it would sell if I did a badge (say, in bronze) for us "bona fide gun nuts"? Wouldn't be all that hard to work up the piece...

Bronze would look too much like the (correctly) much-maligned "CCW Badge." Instead make it a nice, professional looking credit card sized card. That way we can proudly say we're "Card-Carrying Bona Fide Gun Nuts."
