Anyone know what is going on with Jerry A's new Detonics company?
The website has the same "we're making changes" message and all their old contact information is no longer any good.
In fact, I've sent a package back to them 4 times and it bounced each time with the latest saying that the company is no longer there.

Until Jerry calls me and says he wants it back, and pays for the shipping this time - I'm keeping it!

I believe Jerry Ahern hasn't ben involved with Detonics for several months now, and I'm also pretty sure Detonics is currently "between owners". I know they were trying to keep up business as usual, but I've been hearing they have pretty much closed up for the time being.

A poster at one of the 1911 forums said they were raided by the ATF one day after Jerry had replied to my email! I will try to look up the link.

Here is another interesting thread. Looks like the company has gone under.

I'd hang onto that gun unless someone specifically contacts you to get it. It would be pointless to keep mailing it out.
