The fact that NOLA residents voted this thug in again AFTER his miserable performance dealing - or more accurately failing to deal with Katrina, and blaming everyone else, of course - just astounds me.

The mayor and his constituents are probably cut from the same cloth.

Ok, good on them. A token gesture is still just a token. Lets see them that will make a difference for thousands of people and the inductry as a whole and tackle the sporting purposes clause.
