I bought 5000 rounds of 7.62x39 [Wolf ammo] from Cabela's.I paid 408.00 a case with tax. I ordered it for store pickup in my state. The sale price was 379.00 for a thousand rounds.A year ago I ordered 1000 rounds for under 189.00 a case. I bought my Winchester 9mm for 179.00 for a case of a 1000.I loaded up way before all this went down.

I spent $52 for a Beretta 92 mag. It is a sand mag, however.

I actually found one of the better prices on FN FAL mags during the hoard. Domestically produced new Austrian clone mags for $19.99. They actually work too. I bought a bunch and now I don't worry about FAL mags anymore. For those who are interested, Keep Shooting has them.

I ended up making more money from this whole thing than I spent. All I had to do was put it on GB and let everyone else run up the price. I parted with a couple of pieces and used the funds to pay down my student loans and pick up just a few more items. :D

I bought an 6920 and 2000 .223s in November

The price was more than I should'a paid but a lot less what I have been watching them go for since.

I regret nothing I have purchased during this recent drought.
I might not have been totally pleased with prices, but was pleased to have.:neener:

$900 for a c93, granted it is a great rifle and i love it, have put a lot of rounds through it and holds a .17 bolt gap but still $900, i must have really wanted it at the time....

Reverse shame here: Just now trying to sell a SCAR-16 bought pre panic. Probably coulda gotten a lot more if I'd sold a couple months ago, now nobody's interested @ current asking. May have to lower and hope to at least get investment back.

I learned after obama got elected in 08 that whenever any gun stuff hits the fan, black rifles, and ammo gets scarce fast. That said the weekend after the school shooting, a guy was selling a low cap wasr10 with 5 mags, and over a thousand rounds of ammo for $450. I was the second to call (first guy wanted a high cap ak) I met up in 15 minutes and by the time we met up, the guy told me he had almost a dozen calls by then.
I did take the oppurtunity with the demand for AK's and stuff, to trade a post ban wasr 10 for a C96 broom handle mauser. I had 250 bucks in the AK and got a mismatched but shootable broom handle out of the deal. jim

Ashamed of buying? I spent $35 per 50rd box of 45acp. Not happy about that, but I deal because I cashed in on the craze by selling my custom built AR for almost double the cost of building it. Thanks for being a dick gov cuomo (I'm stuck in NY) ka-ching.
I have found some good deals from people selling things trying to raise money for ammo :)

Today I purchased my first gun since the current hoopla started.

Kel-tec RFB, 18" model. From a dealer, new in box.

$1199+tax.

Oh the shame...
