This guy once an animal rights protester PERFECTLY explains what happens when you ban hunting in an area. In this case it was lion hunting. But now that Botswana has banned ALL hunting in most areas the same can be said for all the other species as well. While the grass eaters won't be shot for killing cattle they will be shot for eating crops or bush meat now that they no longer have any value to the local population.

It is good to see an anti hunter get the results of his well meaning yet totally misguided actions rubbed in his face. He is still anti hunting but is forced to admit that there are no better choices at the moment.
