The riots are spurring gun sales

I think the guns sales explosion since the Virus, were because many believed Riots like we see going on, was and is inevitable. There will more, it is escalating more all the time.

It would appear the rioters are well versed in what castle doctrine is.....at least for now. Wreaking havoc on closed businesses is one thing but going after folks homes is another.

As soon as folks figure out they may have to back up their actions with their life, there has to then be a pretty powerful motivation to carry on.

It has encouraged myself to get a new carry pistol. Something more compact that I will be inclined to wear more often. It’s also encouraged myself to add pepper spray to my EDC.

In reality 99% of riot confrontations will not warrant lethal force. It’s nice having pepper spray as a middle ground with the safety of a firearm just in case

Just another cycle, “same ole, same ole” - the have nots want the resources of the haves - very normal for them to want it. The HNs try to take it from the Hs - the Hs defend their power/ resources with armed force.
Then the fear sets in and the firepower disappears from the shelves, anxiety starts and prices skyrocket - another stellar testament to our fellow man ad nauseam.

I suspect use of a firearm in a riot situation would be begging for bad things to happen, but to legally use a firearm you would already be facing such a situation. Even with a snail drum 100rd setup in a riot situation at best your putting down 100 rounds in the midst of a crowd who are likely not real happy to be shot at, and I suspect that once your gun runs dry then you are in for a long painful mauling followed by a conversation with whatever supernatural being you believe controls the afterlife. Best bet in all situations, avoid, evade, and at last resort lay down one hellacious fight when other options are exhausted.

You have Charmin?? :what:

I have Home Depot brand, HDX. All I could ever find.

It compares to Charmin.....according to the package. ;)

Even the worst riots don’t generally make it inside people’s homes. The street out front maybe but not inside.

I hope you're right. Historically I think you pretty much are. The L. A. riots saw people in their yards armed for protection and either the rioters realized there were armed people there and didn't go there or were too busy where they were to notice the armed people over there.

I've heard talk of some rioters wanting to go into the suburbs. In Los Angelos, some went to higher value end of the city but apparently not into homes, just businesses.
