Seeing as how a lot of people (including me) still consider buying the Century Arms Golani Sporter despite the gamble of it being total crap, I was wondering if replacing some of the key components would work?
Take a look at these IMI Galil parts this site sells:
https://www.apexgunparts.com/index.php/cPath/75?osCsid=c15277e06e031b116f381e1bb6f50fa6
So could one buy the Century Golani, and simply replace key components (bolt, feed ramp, gas tube, etc) with the real IMI stuff for around $200 and have a decent Galil clone? Or is there more to it than that to fixing the crap that tends to come out of Century?
thanks.
